Soul mate .

Often this question arises in my mind. How Do I Know If I’ve Found My Soul Mate? There are so many blog ,videos, articles , books and church single program’s that can give you a slight idea of recognising your soul mate. I dream about a prince walking in my life however as i grew up i realised ,it is not about the fairy tale I read about the aurora and the prince or a movie sean from enchanted or shreak .

(Most people of my age group ,when ask for relationship advices ,All I tell them is to wait and wait till they conforms to the pattern of lord . And not to make silly mistakes which will bring any guilt in their lives. Courtship is very important , it gives one liberty and sensibility to take relationship in right direction)

Few of my favourite proverbs are :

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1Timothy 7:12

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you by the gazelles and by the does of the field: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires. Song of Solomon 2:7

Love is not to be stirred until the two partners have learnt to trust and delight in one another .

Are you ready to listen and follow ?

It’s easy to slip off , and difficult to stand firm . If we know God’s good intention for our lives we will not negotiate on righteous living. We can only know God’s plan if we are ready to spend time with him .

For scriptures tell us :

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16: 11

You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. ~ Psalm 31: 20

The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. ~ Psalm 97: 5

Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence. ~ Psalm 140: 13

Righteousness in relationship fuses us with god.

However sin separates us from God .

And what about my fancy list ?

Being a girl i want the best man to lead me in my life

Someone i can trust and can be myself . A man who tells me every moment i am gorgeous and would do anything for Me. Who can take care of me mentally ,spiritually and financially . Can be a great son in law, husband and a father. That’s it … What else can I add… Really am i gonna choose a soul mate on that piece of thought.

To imagine a situation is easy , but when you are into it , God can really use his soft words to melt the list way.

In a soul mate am I looking for what he can give me, and not what I can contribute . Reading The book boy meets girl by jousha Harris .

I was tickled by the thought and standard God has set for marriage and courtship.

Meeting a soul mate is a process of sanctification. And then you learn to be self less , content in who you are. It is not about what you can get from each other, however how you can contribute to each other lives . Or in other words not depending on each other for your needs but on God.Its More than a emotional affair ,Bible has a high view of marriage. It is to be a lifetime plan, not a convenience that can be disposed of in a lawyer’s office. The love of husband and wife is, at its best, a hint of the deeper love between a human being and God.

There is no list which can compare to the plan that God. Yes you can picture your soulmate but don’t go around ticking points .. Coz that might just not help you. God knows who best can be your companion .I had a list too but what God is showing me is not even comparable to my set of list or signs . And it’s even beyond the barriers of our society . God is believably faithful. From my personal story the only ingredient is prayer and the word from bible for conformation ., No movies neither experts advice,no patterns of this world can tell me who my soul mate will be except God. He is such a great friend that In this crucial event of my life ,He is holding my hand and want’s to lead me to whomever i belong . My soul mate, is one who is chosen by God. I am not in rush or any anxiety of making any wrong decision . Most important is your faith and prayer, answered by God in his right time.. I don’t want to negotiate on this point , I want to wait upon the lord until i meet my soul mate. I believe when we get the right thing the right way , we will never ever make a wrong choice . And the right way is just following God’s heart.
